Who chooses instructional materials in this district, to include the contents of the libraries, at what point may the public see them, how can we comment on them, and what is the opt-out process for things we object to?
To find out what the board member knows about budgets,
- How much of our budget goes to PSERS and to charter and cyber charter tuition? What would you do about the part you can control?
- Our adjusted index this year is a specific published number. Do you know what it is? Would you vote to exceed it, and under which exception?
What do you anticipate as the most important decision the board will make in your term (and is it actually the board’s to make)?
How would you evaluate the superintendent? Do you have specific measures?
How often has this board used executive session in the past year, and for what?
Did you cross-file? Why or why not, and what is your actual voter registration?
